CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A busy section of Sharon Road in south Charlotte has reopened after a gas leak Tuesday.
Firefighters and utility workers worked to handle the cut gas line.
The roadway, which closed around Noon, reopened to traffic shortly before 6 p.m.
Charlotte Fire tweeted that all lanes of Sharon Road were shut down between Brookfield Drive and Quail Hollow Road. Firefighters have not said what caused the cut in the gas line.
