I-77 northbound reopens after Iredell County crash involving semi-truck

The crash happened around 6:30 a.m. and impacted traffic for roughly two hours.

STATESVILLE, N.C. — A stretch of Interstate 77 north has reopened in Iredell County after a crash involving a jackknifed semi-truck. 

It happened Thursday morning around 6:30 a.m. on I-77 in Statesville. 

The road was fully closed near Exit 36 for about a mile after the exit, officials said, but all lanes had reopened by 8:30 a.m.
