CHARLOTTE, N.C. — All lanes of Interstate 85 southbound at Statesville Road have reopened after a crash Tuesday afternoon.
At least three Medic ambulances responded along with the Charlotte Fire Department. WCNC Charlotte has reached out to Medic to ask about any injuries as a result of the crash.
Delays stretched back several miles on I-85 southbound to at least Exit 36 for University City Blvd. Emergency officials had to reduce southbound traffic to only one lane after the crash. Northbound traffic remained open.
