I-485 inner reopened after crash closed all 3 lanes

It happened on I-485 at mile marker 39, which is near Harrisburg Road in east Charlotte.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — All three lanes of the inner loop of Interstate 485 in east Charlotte have reopened after a crash Tuesday, according to the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. It happened on I-485 at mile marker 39, which is near Harrisburg Road in east Charlotte. Three people were hurt, all have minor injuries.

The road was expected to be closed for hours, but NCDOT confirmed it had reopened around 11:40 a.m.
