MOORESVILLE, N.C. — The southbound lanes of Interstate 77 are back open after a multi-vehicle crash near Langtree Road in Mooresville Friday afternoon.
The crash happened near mile marker 32, which is between Exit 33 for U.S. 21/Charlotte Highway and Exit 31 for Langtree Road. All four lanes were blocked. The road fully reopened around 1:45 p.m.
Traffic was backed up several miles on I-77 toward Highway 150 in Mooresville. Drivers in the area can expect delays due to the long traffic backups.
Drivers could take Alcove Road around the crash and rejoin I-77 at Langtree Road.
