'I could have lost my life.' Woman says large rock thrown at her windshield

A North Carolina restaurant owner is speaking out to warn drivers after she says someone threw a rock that shattered her windshield on the way home.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County restaurant owner is speaking out to warn commuters after she says someone threw a rock that shattered her windshield on the way home.

The incident happened Friday night just before 10 p.m. along Mial Plantation Road in eastern Wake County.

The vehicle's driver, Tiana Cooke, said she believes someone is up to no good and wants others to be on the lookout.

"The damage speaks for itself," said Cooke. "Who would do this? I don't know what trend it is or a game."

Cooke recalls the moment of the incident and being in disbelief.

"All of a sudden, I hear a boom and all the glass shattered in my eyes, and I'm like, what in the world, I know this did not just happen to me," said Cooke.
