Overturned tanker truck on I-77 ramp caused heavy delays

The right ramp lane was closed near Exit 1 for Westinghouse Boulevard heading southbound as crews cleared the scene.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An overturned tanker truck on an Interstate 77 ramp for Westinghouse Boulevard caused heavy delays in southwest Charlotte Monday morning. The incident has since been cleared.

The Charlotte Fire Department and Mecklenburg EMS (Medic) responded to the crash. One person is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries in relation to the crash, according to Medic.
