Sinkhole closes 2 lanes in Uptown, CMPD says

The small sinkhole is near the intersection of South Church Street and Fourth Street.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two lanes of an Uptown Charlotte intersection are closed due to a sinkhole, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

The small sinkhole is near the intersection of South Church Street and Fourth Street, not far from Romare Bearden Park.
