INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. — US 74 eastbound in Union County was closed in Union County in Indian Trail. The closure impacted drivers headed toward Monroe.
A crash closed all lanes eastbound between Wesley Chapel Stouts Road and Hayes Road.
Delays were already stretching back to Stallings near the interchange with the US 74 Bypass.
Drivers heading from Charlotte toward Monroe could use the US 74 Bypass toll road or Monroe Road as a detour.
The westbound lanes from Monroe toward Matthews remained open.
