CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolinas are a mixed bag when it comes to airline prices. Charlotte Douglas was named the 8th priciest airport in the U.S. An article from CNBC said airports in Alaska and Wisconsin topped that list for most expensive.
Meanwhile, Myrtle Beach International in South Carolina ranked third cheapest in the United States. The average flight price for this airport is $240.
But if you are looking to get away, maybe for spring break or an early summer vacation, WCNC found some flights at a bit of a lower price point.
Around $50 dollars gets you to New York or Orlando, and $100 gets you to places like Nashville, Miami or Dallas.
