CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Douglas International Airport, which is one of the main American Airlines hubs, is getting a new nonstop flight in August.
According to American, the airline will offer nonstop flights to Quebec City starting Aug. 10. American already announced direct flights to Vancouver and Calgary will start on June 5 and June 8 respectively.
This announcement comes on the heels of two Caribbean flight changes from American out of Charlotte's main airport.
On Thursday, American said it will start offering Saturday-only service to St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Dec. 7. It also plans to increase daily service to Antigua on Dec. 5.
Charlotte's airport has service to 180 different destinations around the world, and American Airlines has the lion share of those flights. According to airport officials, more than 53 million passengers traveled through Charlotte's airport.
