CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
Today
Skies will be sunny across the region with afternoon temperatures in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees. Winds today will be around 15 to 25mph. Look for clear skies overnight with lows in the mid 30s.
Mountains: Snow & Cold
Snow continues to fall across the North Carolina mountains. Two to four inches is the general range for snow accumulation, around elevations 3,000 to 4,000 ft. level. Higher elevations will have snow totals between five and seven inches. This is the first chance this season for widespread, accumulating snow across all of the mountains.
Weekend notes:
- Lows will be in the 30s both mornings
- Sunday morning will be near the freezing mark
- Highs in the upper 50s Saturday
- Highs in the low to the mid 60s Sunday
- Both days will be dry and mostly sunny
Next Week
Monday and Tuesday will be unseasonably mild with highs in the upper 60s. Wednesday should be cooler with highs in the upper 50s. Thanksgiving will cloudy with a chance of rain. Highs will be near 60.
