CHARLOTTE, N.C. —
This Evening & Overnight
Mostly cloudy with lows around 59 degrees tonight. Areas of fog and patchy drizzle continue off and on through Saturday morning.
This Weekend
Saturday will be overcast to start then mostly cloudy by the afternoon! Highs will be in the low-mid 70s (similar to Friday) but air is slightly drier. It'll be mostly cloudy once again headed into Sunday morning with lows around 52 degrees.
Sunday will start mostly cloudy before mixing in the sunshine by the second half of the day! It'll be one of our cooler days this week/next week with a high near 70 degrees.
Next Week
As quickly as cooler air moved in, it's back out by early next week! Monday is still mild with a high in the upper 60s but clouds return in full force. This is due to a warm front lifting north across the Carolinas.
Our highs return to the mid-upper 70s and close to 80 degrees and lows return to the 50s. Rain returns as well by the middle and end of the week.
Tropics
High pressure over the United States will keep all systems away for now. Our team and the National Hurricane Center is watching two areas of low pressure in the western Caribbean and near Puerto Rico.
