ROCK HILL, S.C. — A new disaster recovery center is opening in Rock Hill to help people impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The center is a one-stop shop where people can meet with FEMA representatives and apply for federal assistance. Residents can also receive referrals for other support in their communities.
The center is at the York County Library, located at 138 E. Black Street in Rock Hill.
Rock Hill disaster recovery center hours
- Nov. 13-14: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Nov. 15-16: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Nov. 17: Closed
- Nov. 18-21: 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Nov. 22: 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Residents in Abbeville, Aiken, Allendale, Anderson, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Cherokee, Chester, Edgefield, Fairfield, Greenville, Greenwood, Hampton, Jasper, Kershaw, Laurens, Lexington, McCormick, Newberry, Oconee, Orangeburg, Pickens, Richland, Saluda, Spartanburg, Union and York counties and the Catawba Indian Nation are eligible for federal assistance for Helene recovery.
