Tropical Update

We're monitoring the western Caribbean and southern Gulf of Mexico for tropical development over the next seven days. Elsewhere, the remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon are trying to reform but will not impact land.

There's a well-defined area of low pressure a few hundred miles northwest of the remnants of Gordon, too. Some slow development is possible.
