CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Living in the Carolinas means there's always a chance of severe weather.
Chief Meteorologist Brad Panovich says it’s important for everyone to be weather aware and prepared ahead of any storms that may impact the region.
One of the easiest, cheapest, and essential items you’ll want to have in your home is a severe weather supply kit. Panovich says you’ll want to have the following items handy and in an easily accessible place:
- Helmet
- Whistle
- First Aid kit
- Weather Radio
- Food
- Water
- Batteries
- Flashlight
- Car charging kit
Do you have each of these items in your emergency kit? https://t.co/HKuYoaV91Z pic.twitter.com/YeapfWh0jS
