Here are the latest election results for the Nov. 5, 2024, general election. Voters will choose the next president of the United States, with former President Donald Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris on the ballot. There are several key races that people in the Charlotte area and North Carolina and South Carolina will decide. A hotly contested Governor race features Democratic Attorney General Josh Stein facing off against Republican challenger Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson. There will be state and local elections on the ballot, too.
