YORKCOUNTY, S.C. -- As part of an ongoing investigation, the York County Sheriff's Office seized items valued at more than $15,000 after counterfeit goods began flooding the county.

On Wednesday, York County Sheriff's Detectives seized 272 counterfeit Otter Box Defender Series cellphone cases, 11 counterfeit Mophine Juice Pack Plus cellphone cases and 72 other cellphone accessories.

The suspect, a 16-year-old whose name will not be released, has not yet been charged.

Detectives and fraud investigators set up an undercover buy after discovering the goods on CraigsList.

The minor suspect led detectives and investigators back to his residence in Tega Cay, where officials say the majority of the counterfeit goods were housed.

Again, no charges have yet been filed, and the investigation continues.
