SCarowinds not requiring a separate ticket for the first time

The popular Halloween attraction has previously required a SCarowinds-specific ticket.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — SCarowinds is kicking off its 2024 run soon, and for the first time, it will not require a separate ticket to the park.

The popular Halloween attraction, which debuted in 2000, has previously required a specific ticket separate from the general Carowinds admission.

The amusement park announced two new fall events in addition to SCarowinds: the family-friendly Tricks and Treats event, and Carowinds' take on the popular Oktoberfest celebration.

"This exciting lineup ensures that guests can enjoy a full day of thrills, chills and festive fun at Carowinds for the price of one ticket, making it the perfect destination for fall entertainment for both family and friends alike," Manny Gonzalez, vice president and general manager of Carowinds, said.

Tricks and Treats will be available on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 14 through Oct. 27, from noon to 6 p.m. Families can pick pumpkins, play themed games, make masks, watch live shows, and more.
