CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Fresh off a musical guest spot on NBC's Saturday Night Live, Noah Kahan is set to headline the first Lovin' Life Music Fest in Charlotte which also will feature Post Malone and Stevie Nicks.
The 26-year-old has had a massive 2023. On top of his ongoing tour selling out internationally, the folk-rocker was nominated for a Grammy award. Kahan posted on X shortly after the November announcement writing "Dreams do come true."
The Vermont native has three studio albums, including Stick Season, which Kahan described to NBC affiliate WPTZ as a "love letter to New England." Stick Season peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in June 2023, two weeks after an expanded edition, titled Stick Season (We'll All Be Hear Forever), was released.
He has recently collaborated with other artists, including Hozier, Kacey Musgraves, and co-headliner Post Malone. After his collaboration with Malone on "Dial Drunk", Kahan wrote on Instagram "It feels like a full circle moment and it has been a dream come true to make this collaboration happen. Thank you so much Post for blessing me with your involvement."
As an advocate for mental health, Kahan started The Busyhead Project.
"I was fortunate and privileged enough to go to therapy at a really young age, but I would go to therapy and basically just lie," Kahan told CD 92.9 FM back in March. "The truth was I had all this insecurity and pain and I didn't want to talk about it because I was scared of being weak."
Kahan shares that story on his tour, including at his June 2023 stop at the Skyla Credit Union Amphitheatre. A portion of every ticket sold from his 2023 tour goes to the project to support local organizations throughout the country. The fund has already raised over $2 million.
The Lovin' Life Music Fest is not the only stop Kahan has scheduled for 2024. As part of his "We’ll All be Here Forever World Tour," Kahah has two sold-out shows at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena in late May. He will also headline the first day of the High Water Festival in North Charleston on April 20.
Ticket sales for the Lovin' Life Music Fest begin at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14. The 3-day passes range in price from $199 to $999. Single-day tickets are not available at this time.
