Carowinds' WinterFest returns for the holiday season

The holiday celebration features rides, live entertainment, parades, and Santa Claus. WinterFest runs through Jan. 4, 2025.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Carowinds' annual holiday festival 'WinterFest' returns Saturday. 

The park will be decked out in millions of shimmering Christmas lights, with festive live entertainment throughout the park. 

Popular shows including Tinker's Toy Factory, The MistileTones and Cool Yule Christmas are expected to make their return this holiday season. Guests will also be able to take part in festive experiences, including ice skating, decorating cookies, and writing a letter to Santa.

Each night at 9 p.m., the WinterFest Wonderland Parade will make its way through the park. Guests will be treated to classic holiday themes and entertainment, and catch a sight of Santa Claus. 

Daily tickets to WinterFest start at $32.99. You can buy tickets online.

WinterFest runs select nights from Nov. 15 until Jan. 4, 2025. 

The 400-acre amusement park located on the North Carolina-South Carolina border.
