Coca-Cola employee arrested, accused of taking photos under teen's skirt

A police report accuses the man of using his phone to take photos under a teen's skirt at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Coca-Cola Consolidated employee is facing charges after an incident at Bank of America Stadium over the weekend.

Brian Outland was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 24. According to documents obtained by WCNC Charlotte, Outland is accused of using a cellphone to take pictures under a 14-year-old girl's skirt Saturday night at the stadium. He was released on a $5,000 bond on Sunday morning.

Outland appeared in Mecklenburg County court on Monday afternoon, waiving his right to an attorney. His next court appearance is slated for Sept. 10.

Coca-Cola Consolidated issued the following statement to WCNC Charlotte:

"We are aware of the allegation; however, it is not our practice to discuss personal matters involving current or former teammates. All questions should be directed to local law enforcement."

Note: WCNC instituted a policy in March 2021 regarding the broadcast or posting of mugshots.

WCNC will only air or post a mugshot if the person has been formally charged with a crime and in a few other cases. The exceptions include: If it appears the person could be a danger to themselves or others or if they are wanted by authorities; to differentiate between people with a common name; if the photos could encourage more victims to come forward. The news-editorial leadership may also decide to use a mugshot based on the severity of the crime(s) committed and/or the level of public interest in the crime and ensuing criminal proceedings.

WCNC Charlotte has chosen to use this mugshot because there could be more victims.
