2 injured in east Charlotte shooting, Medic says

Medic confirmed two people were shot and have life-threatening injuries.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two people are hurt after a shooting early Wednesday morning, according to Medic.

It happened on Dogwood Place in east Charlotte, which is just off Hickory Grove Road and near East W.T. Harris Boulevard.

Medic confirmed two people were shot and have life-threatening injuries. Both people were taken to a nearby hospital to be treated.

Multiple Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police cars were at the scene, but CMPD has not provided any further information about the shooting at this time.
