CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted for several charges.
Police said 26-year-old Colton Peterson has multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest including breaking and entering into a vehicle, felony larceny, financial transaction card theft and financial transaction card fraud.
On October 6, around 10;20 a.m. police said a victim reported someone broke into her unlocked car parked in her driveway on Wheat Meadow Lane. Multiple credit cards were taken and later used fraudulently at various stores.
Police identified Peterson as the suspect in this case and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
