ROCK HILL, S.C. — A 13-year-old teenager was arrested on Monday after bringing a gun to Castle Heights Middle School in Rock Hill.
A report from the York County Sheriff's Office states that a student had the gun in the pocket of his jacket. Another student noticed something and informed the School Resource Officer about the situation.
The gun was taken and the student was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a weapon on school property./
YCSO said there were no known threats to the school and they are continuing to investigate the incident.
On Tuesday, an Anson County High School student was caught trying to bring a gun to school in a book bag.
