CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — The Chester County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in the June 17 murder that left one man dead.
44-year-old Carlton Wallace Dixon is wanted for the shooting death of a 29-year-old man at Ramsey Grove Apartments on Flint Street in Chester.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Monday, June 17, the Chester County Sheriff's Office confirmed a 29-year-old man was killed following a shooting at Ransey Grove Apartments on Flint Street in Chester.
The victim was taken to the hospital, where attempts were made to save his life, but the victim died from his gunshot wounds.
Dixon is facing the following charges:
- Murder
- Possession of a weapon during a violent crime
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition by person convicted of certain crimes
The CCSO said Dixon is believed to be armed and dangerous.
