Catawba singer makes it onto NBC's 'The Voice'

Coach Gwen Stefani said Christina Eagle had a good attitude and energy, and she was excited to see what the 23-year-old would do on Coach Snoop Dogg's team.

CATAWBA, N.C. — A Catawba singer made it onto NBC's "The Voice" after a rendition of Lainey Wilson's "Wildflowers and Wild Horses."

Coach Snoop Dogg added 23-year-old Christina Eagle to his team, hitting his button at the very end of her performance after dancing in his chair while hearing her sing.

"I need that," he said as his chair turned.

Eagle cheered as the coaches turned their chairs after her performances. Coach Gwen Stefani said Eagle had a good attitude and energy, and she was excited to see what Eagle would do on Coach Snoop.

"I pushed the button because it was so much excitement going on, I had to see it," Snoop Dogg said. "I was hearing it but I wanted to see it. Then when I turned around and I seen your spirit and your energy and how you just embodied the whole record, that's what I'm in it for."

He said he's not looking for perfection, he's looking for what she's bringing into her performance.
