LENOIR, N.C. — UPDATE: At the request of the Lenoir Police Department, the Silver Alert has been canceled.
A Silver Alert was issued Friday night for a missing man out of Caldwell County.
Dwight Reginald Laughter, 74, was last seen at 2308 Hickory Blvd #B in Lenoir.
He was believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Laughter may be headed to Bryan County, Ga. in a 2016 white Toyota Prius with license plate number BMF7862.
