More than 40 artists across different genres will perform on three stages in Uptown's First Ward for the festival's debut next year.
Artists to perform at Lovin' Life Music Fest in Uptown
Just one day after WCNC Charlotte spoke to Southern Entertainment partner Bob Durkin about the logistics of the Lovin' Life Music Fest, a map of the event's layout was posted on the event's Instagram account. The layout of the map shows the main stage of the event located on the block sandwiched between E. 8th Street, E. 9th Street, North Caldwell Street and North Brevard Street. Main stage VIP and super VIP ticket areas are also within this block.
The general admission areas run three blocks southwest between North Brevard Street and North Caldwell Street, ending at E. 5th Street. First Ward Park will house the Art and Culinary Village. It is not yet known where the other stages will be located.
An "Early Bird" ticket release started at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14. There are four different types of festival passes ranging in price from $199 to $999. At this time, the tickets are all for 3-day passes. Festival organizers said if tickets are still available closer to the festival, they may open up the option to purchase single-day tickets.
Wristbands are expected to ship in April, according to the festival's website. The website said the festival will offer payment plans, and notes all payments must be paid in full before wristbands ship in April. The festival website says all sales are final and the tickets are non-refundable.
Children 10 and under are free without a wristband but must be accompanied by an adult, according to the website. Organizers said the festival is "family friendly."
Festival organizers said the event is expected to attract 90,000 attendees and has a projected economic impact of more than $30 million for its first year. Charlotte Center City Partners said the music festival "will be a major leap forward" for the city's efforts to grow the music scene in Charlotte.
