Deadly police shooting under investigation in North Carolina

It happened Thursday afternoon at a Greenville grocery store.

GREENVILLE, N.C. — A deadly police shooting was under investigation at a North Carolina grocery store on Thursday afternoon.

It happened at Aldi in Greenville where police said the initial call was about a man was being aggressive to customers in the parking lot. 

According to police, as an officer approached, they encountered a person with a gun.

Police said two people were shot and one died. They said the officer was not hurt, and the State Bureau of Investigation was investigating.
