Car pinned under school bus in west Charlotte

The accident happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at West Blvd. and Dr. Carver Rd.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — One person was hurt after a car was pinned under a school bus in west Charlotte.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at West Blvd. and Dr. Carver Rd.

There were a few kids on the bus belonging to Movement School but they were not hurt.

The driver of the car was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.

Drivers were being rerouted around the accident scene while first responders waited on a tow truck.
