MONROE, N.C. — A third person has been arrested over a month after a shooting in Monroe left a man seriously hurt. Tristian Travon Ingram, 25, was arrested in Mecklenburg County.
The shooting happened on Halloween night at the Icemorlee apartment complex on Icemorlee Street. Officers found a 29-year-old man in the parking lot who had been shot. He was taken to an area hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
Detectives investigating the incident learned there had been an argument in the parking lot between the victim and another person, leading to the victim being shot.
In late November, Monroe Police arrested Antoine Levette Leach, 19, and Oquavyon McBride, 22, at the same apartment complex. Leach was charged with attempted first-degree murder and McBride faced charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Ingram has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and possession of a firearm by felon. He is being held at the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
At this time, it does not appear that police are looking for any additional suspects.
